The new state-of-the-art Southeast Event Centre in downtown Steinbach just unveiled a new slogan that represents the passion and potential of the community – Fuelled by Formavorscht.
“More farmer sausage is produced and consumed in this region than any other place,” said Southeast Event Centre spokesperson Sarah Klippenstein. “Whether it’s the boys on the Steinbach Pistons or the folks on the pickleball court, they all have one thing in common – formavorscht.”
The team had also considered Fuelled by Vereniki and Fuelled by Knackzoat, but ultimately felt that Formavorscht was the best representation of what this Event Centre stands for.
“No wonder the Pistons have won three championships in just ten years,” said Klippenstein. “What do you think gives them all that get-up-and-go?”
The Southeast Event Centre: Fuelled by Formavorscht is set to open this March with the unveiling of a life-size bronze statue of a ring of delicious pork farmer sausage.
