Andrew Unger Banned from White House Press Pool

WASHINGTON, DC

“There’s been far too much shputting for far too long.” This from White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who has banned Mennonite satirist Andrew Unger from the press pool in Washington, DC.

“He’s very bad. Very bad. Jokes not funny. So unfunny,” said Trump. “Fake news. I hate to tell you–I’m the only one who will tell you–but he’s just making it all up, folks.”

The ban created shock waves this week, as The Unger Review, and its predecessor The Daily Bonnet, have long been regarded as the country’s most reliable source of news.

“If he attacks Andrew Unger, where will he stop?” said CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “This man has no respect for legitimate journalism.”

Unger says he’s not too concerned about the ban, saying it should have no discernible impact on his ability to come up with material.
