In an effort to show that she is truly relaxed and enjoying the season, area woman Ruth Wiens, 47, is planning to post pictures of her feet and/or legs every evening for the next two months.
“Lookout, Facebook, here comes an onslaught of Ruth’s feet,” said Wiens, before plopping down on her lawn chair and hauling out her iPhone. “You ain’t seen nothing yet. It’s going to nothing but relaxed-looking feet until Labour Day!”
The images will also occasionally feature an early morning mug of coffee or summer beach read in the corner of the photo.
“But it’s mostly gonna be feet pics,” said Wiens. “I’ve gotta show everyone how truly relaxed I am.”
Wiens says she really can’t calm down and enjoy the weather unless she posts a few pictures of her recently-pedicured feet on social media.
“Sometimes I’ll even get my Earl’s feet in the frame,” said Wiens. “Although I usually have to PhotoShop out all his corns and toe jam.”
Wiens recently won the award for Most Relaxed Woman in Mitchell, Manitoba after a record-setting 15-consecutive days of feet pics.
