Canadians and Americans to Watch Canada and America Play Canadian Sport in American Arena Sponsored By American Subsidiary of Canadian Bank

BOSTON, MA

Canadians and Americans will be tuning in tonight to watch a Canadian game played by Canadians and Americans in an arena owned by Americans, engineered by Canadians, and sponsored by an American subsidiary of a Canadian bank.

“It’s going to be quite the matchup at TD Garden in America this evening as Canada and the US go head-to-head to see whether Canadians or Americans hate each other more, ever since the US President decided a couple weeks ago that this was a thing,” said Canadian-American dual citizen and hockey pundit Gary Mackenzie. “It’s interesting how quickly this trumped up Canada-USA divide has arisen.”

Canadians will be especially keen to watch whether the American goalie who plays for a Canadian team in Canada can perform playing for an American team against Canada in America.

“Yeah, we’ll also be watching how the American captain who grew up watching a Canadian game played by an American team that used to be in Canada can perform in America vs. the Canadians,” said Mackenzie. “I just hope I have enough Canadian beer made with American hops and Canadian barley to make it through the Canada-US game.”

Americans watching the Canada-US game will be tuning in on their television sets powered by Canadian electricity to see whether the Americans can beat the Canadians at the Canadian game.
