WINNIPEG, MB
Millions of Canadians have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of beige season and its finally here.
“I just love this time of year. The gravel, the stones, the garbage peeking out from under the snow,” said Mrs. Loewen of Winnipeg. “You know those folks over in Abbotsford are really missing out.”
Loewen says she spends considerable time outside during beige season.
“My Walter already has his lawn chair out there on the front yard,” said Loewen. “The grass may not be green, but Walter’s pile of zoat just adds to the beigeness of everything.”
Loewen’s views are not without their detractors, however, as several church members have threatened to break off and form their own congregation, if Loewen doesn’t refer to this time of year as “grey season.”
