The Friesen cousins from Taber decided to attend a Flames game this week, but they didn’t expect to be thrust into the spotlight the way they were.
“We were just sitting there enjoying some hockey, when all of the sudden I looked up at the screen and, oba, there we were yet,” said Friesen. “At first I didn’t know what to do but the crowd seemed to expect us to kiss.”
Moments later Melissa just leaned over and planted one on her cousin.
“I had no idea she had such feelings for me,” said Doug. “That Kiss Cam is a gift!”
The kiss made waves in Taber.
“Looks like another Friesen-Friesen wedding is in the works,” said Mrs. Friesen. “I’m happy for couple.”
