Highway 75 Construction to be Finished Just in Time to Start All Over Again

MORRIS, MB

Construction on one of Manitoba’s most important highways is set to be complete just in time for the whole process to start all over again.

“Our plan is that by the time we’re done that final stretch, the sections we’ve already completed will be in such bad shape, they’ll need to be redone,” said Manitoba Highways Spokesman Dwight Schmidt. “It’s just one way we show our appreciation for the good people of Manitoba.”

Schmidt says they’re going to work on fixing all the remaining potholes and cracks in the highway this fall.

“And when we’re done, we’re hoping for a brand new crop to work on,” said Schmidt. “I like to think of us more like farmers than road construction.”

Residents of Morris, Manitoba are particularly excited about the plan.

“We’re already seeing cracks in the section they just fixed up,” said area man Dave Peters. “That’s always a good sign.”
