Rumours are swirling this week after area man Dave Dueck demonstrated an insufficient level of enthusiasm for the Conservative Party of Canada.
“Everyone else has Ted Falk signs popping up like weeds,” said Mr. Martens, “but I don’t know what’s with that Mr. Dueck. Just one sign? Oba jauma!”
It’s gotten so bad that some are beginning to question Dueck’s commitment to the faith.
“Seems like he’s a backslider. Very lukewarm if you ask me,” said Mrs. Wiens. “Unlike brother Dave, I’ve been really on fire for Ted Falk as of late.”
Pastor Ron plans to preach a sermon on this important manner this Sunday, just in the time for the election.
“We’re going to have an altar call,” said Pastor Ron. “That Mr. Dueck better not sleep in again and miss it like he did with the sunrise service last week.”
Dueck says he doesn’t know what everyone’s blathering about as it’s actually his wife who put up the sign in the first place.
