AYLMER, ON
Local man Peter Hildebrandt, 61, was one of, like, fifteen Ontarians who managed to successfully obtain their QR codes today, but spent the better part of the afternoon trying to solve the darn thing.
“I’ve tried it every which way and I can’t make heads nor tails of this thing,” said Hildebrandt. “I’m going to have to take this to the Stockyard Cafe and see if Dietrich or Johan can figure it out.”
Hildebrandt flipped it upside down, turned it sideways, and even printed it out on his grandson’s printer, but still could not solve the maze.
“All I know is they keep asking to see this thing whenever I order a coffee,” said Hildebrandt. “I tried to tell them I hadn’t even solved it yet, but they didn’t seem to mind.”
His inability to make his way through the maze really frustrates Hildebrandt who is known as Aylmer’s most skilled puzzle solver.
“Suduko, Search-A-Word, Bible trivia – you name it, I’m good at it,” said Hildebrandt. “But Premier Ford sure has come up with one hell of a maze. I’ve got to hand it to him. He sure stumped me on this one.”
Doug Ford claimed that he was inspired to create this new maze based on Toronto traffic between 5 and 6 pm on a Thursday.
