Die hard Jets fan Darren Giesbrecht, 50, is so pumped for the game tonight that he plans to wake up early tomorrow morning to find out the score.
“I don’t want to miss even a second of tomorrow morning’s recap,” said Giesbrecht. “Let me tell you, I’ll really be on the age of my seat when I crawl out of bed tomorrow.”
While more casual fans are staying up late tonight to watch the game, Giesbrecht says it take a real diehard like him to get up at 7 and watch the highlights.
“I’ll be dreaming really hard for the Jets tonight,” said Giesbrecht. “It’s not every day I get to sleep through an important game like this.”
Giesbrecht is hoping the Jets go really far this year so he can finally yawn and snore his way through the presentation of the Stanley Cup.
