Oakland A’s to Play 2024 Season in Fresno Mennonite Church Parking Lot

FRESNO, CA

Several fans have already been setting up their lawn chairs at the Fresno Mennonite Church parking lot in anticipation of the 2024 Oakland Athletics season.

“We’re hoping to get 50 or 60 people out to the games,” said Pastor David. “I’m sure we’ll have capacity crowds and plenty of knackzoat.”

Each game will begin with the signing of a hymn and a baptism.

“Those will just be on special occasions,” said David. “But you can rest assured there will be a potluck evey day during the 7th inning stretch.”

The A’s plan to play in Fresno until their new permanent stadium is built in the small town of Hubbard, Oregon.
