A nationwide manhunt has ended in the arrest of a tall handsome moustachioed plumber named Luigi.
“I’m innocent, I tell you, innocent,” yelled Luigi as he was taken into custody by Altoona police/koopa troopas.
The arrest of Luigi has drawn attention throughout the Mushroom Kingdom, where several prominent locals are calling for his immediate release.
“I’m certain you have the wrong man,” said Toad. “I mean just because you found shells lying around, doesn’t mean anything.”
Luigi’s story has spread across the land with some folks viewing him as a folk hero for his efforts to free the princess from the evil Bowser.
