A 73-year-old retired farmer named Abe Wiens is planning a one-man boycott of Taylor Swift this week after he discovered she doesn’t support his preferred political candidate.
“I’m sure she’s devastated,” said Wiens, “but not as devastated as I am to find out Taylor Swift is not a MAGA supporter.”
Wiens says he has sold his concert tickets at cost and returned his ERAS tour t-shirt to the store.
“Or at least I would if I had actually purchased those items to begin with,” said Wiens. “Taylor should know – I won’t be spending one cent more on her products. And even though I never did in the past, I certainly won’t start now.”
Swift said she was saddened to hear that the angry Mennonite farmer will no longer be in the front row at her upcoming concert.
“It’s sad really,” said Swift. “I had a friendship bracelet ready to go with Art Wiens written on it.”
Swift’s controversial and totally surprising endorsement is estimated to her dozens if not hundreds of dollars in lost revenue from men like Mr. Art Wiens.
