Thousands of teens and boomers found themselves in the exact same movie theatre this week, but for completely different reasons.
“Woah, Grandma, I had no idea you were such a big Timothée Chalamet fan!” said Omaha high school senior Sarah.
Meanwhile, Grandma Penner was a little baffled at the presence of her granddaughter.
“And you, Sarah, I had no idea you were so into Bob Dylan,” said Grandma Penner.
Both Sarah and Grandma admitted they had no idea who the other one was referring to.
“I guess that’s why this movie is called A Complete Unknown,” said Grandma Penner. “Well, you know, it’s good to see some up-and-coming young actors take on a challenge like this.”
Grandma Penner and Sarah have already made plans to bake cookies and watch Call Me By Your Name together sometime in the new year.
