British Columbia Still Counting their Vogts

VICTORIA, BC

Elections BC released an initial Vogt count this weekend, but the full results will not be known until all the Vogts are counted.

“I think there’s a whole bunch of Vogts in Abbotsford that we haven’t counted yet,” said official Vogt counter Diane Voth. “A few in Chilliwack and Black Creek too.”

Vogts seem to be popping up all across the province, which is creating difficulties for those trying to come up with a total Vogt tally.

“We like to keep a low profile,” said berry farmer Peter Vogt, “but around election time you’ll find us Vogts all over the place.”

There even were some Vogts in the MB church lobby this Sunday.

“So much for separation of church and state, I guess,” said Vogt. “But I guess you’ve got to find your Vogts where you can.”

The total Vogt count is thought to be north of 500 or so plus a few Vogts who moved in from Manitoba this summer.
