Vacationing Couple to Spend the Next Two Weeks Standing in Lines All Over Europe

NEUSCHWANSTEIN, GERMANY

The Fehrs of Altona, Manitoba have been saving up for the past three years for their once-in-lifetime chance to stand in lines all over Europe.

“Melissa does all the planning,” said Steve. “She’s got a great itinerary. We’re going to be standing in lines at the Colloseum, the Eiffel Tower, and I’m most looking forward to standing in line at Neuschwanstein Castle.”

If they can fit it into their schedule, the Fehrs will also be standing in lines at the Vatican, the Prado, and the Louvre.

“You know it’s a dream come true,” said Melissa. “Finally we’re here standing in lines all over Europe.”

Although the Fehrs have never stood in line in Europe before, they do have some experience standing in line in Florida and New York City.

“It was that line at the Empire State Building that really sparked my passion for line standing,” said Steve. “I guess we’ve just caught the line standing bug.”

The Fehrs have done most of the planning themselves, but also recommend picking up a Lonely Planet book or their favourite Rick Steves Guide to Standing in European Lines.
