After almost a century-and-a-half of furious debate, Mennonites on both sides of the Red River have still not yet determined which side is the “other side.” Instead, residents in the West declare that their side is “Ditsied” and the other side is “Jantsied.” Meanwhile, residents on the East say exactly the opposite.
In order the forever clarify the situation, the Government of Manitoba has opened up this official and legally binding online referendum. Voting begins today right here on The Daily Bonnet.
