Area woman Lauren Kehler, 31, went to the service desk at the local hardware store with a question about caulking and was still unacknowledged a full 2 weeks later.
“I guess I’ll stick around a week or two more and then if I still don’t get some service, I’m out of here,” explained Kehler. “I even dinged the little bell and they took one look at me and went back to help a contractor load 2x4s onto the truck.”
More than 2000 men have been promptly served while Kehler has been in waiting.
“My patience is starting to wear thin,” said Kehler. “What does it take to get service in this place?”
Kehler says she wandered the aisles for 3 full days without anyone asking if she needed help finding something.
“Meanwhile, when Bert Fehr comes schlepping in here with his overalls, the role out the red carpet,” said Kehler. “If this continues, I’m just going to order my stuff on Amazon.”
Gruenbach Hardware says they sympathize within Kehler’s situation but say there’s simply nothing they can do about it since she doesn’t have the right genitals.
